THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY

We want to thank the generosity of all the wonderful friends of the GBPA. In the past three months we have received a three piece antique bedroom suite from Lois Wonder, a hooked rug from Barb Mowery and an oil lamp from Chris & Stephanie Johnson for our guest bedroom; a period chest of drawers from a local home on the Hanover Road given by Joe Amughnt; a collection of kitchen and other decorative antiques from the Johnsons; and several children's chairs and other items from June & Bobbi. A free load of stone for the driveway from Valley Quarry was delivered at no charge by Carl Woerner.

The 88th PVI donated a major portion of the money for the purchase the house `original' reproductive lighting and the Mifflin Guard Civilians recently donated $1,000 for the restoration of the hearth room window on the barn side of the house. The Green Mountain Civil War Round Table donated $250 to help with the recreation of the back porch step.

These are just a few the many donations we have received and the GBPA want to thank, not only these friends, but all of you who have donated at any time to our projects. Being a non-profit organization, we are permitted to provide a `Certificate of Donation' for any items, services or monetary donations that you give. Please let us know if you would like a receipt. Our work, whether it be on the Daniel Lady Farm or the PA Monuments Project would not be possible without the generosity of all of you who love Gettysburg and want to preserve the memory of what happened here in 1863. We are an all-volunteer organization and we need and appreciate all the help that we receive from you.
