THE GBPA ANNUAL DINNER
The GBPA Annual Dinner was held on November
17, 2006 at the Dobbin House in Gettysburg. With over 75 people
in attendance, we all enjoyed the wonderful food and fascinating
program. Lt. Nicholas A. Paonessa, Niagara Falls Police Crime
Scene Unit Supervisor, presented a phenomenal program. The
slide presentation showed the process of evaluating the blood
stains on the floors of the Daniel Lady Farm and proved that
the new equipment was able to find bloodstains that are over
144 years old.
This year our Eisenhower Award for Lifetime Achievement went
to Ray and Katie Davis, a couple who have given many hours
of hard work to the Daniel Lady Farm. Without their dedication,
our restoration work would not be at the current status. We
also thanked all of the volunteers who were indispensable.
The annual dinner for 2007 will
be on November 16. The cost of the dinner is $30 per person
and reservations need to be made by November 9. Please mail
a check to our post office box.
